Class Description
This spring, your child will embark on an exciting Great Adventures themed journey with LEGO, where they’ll explore STEM concepts through fun, hands-on learning! Here’s a sneak peek at what they’ll be up to: - Maria and Sofie’s Boat Trip: How will they get their boat into the water? - Leo’s Arctic Adventure: How can he use his snowmobile to reach the polar bears? - Daniel’s Cave Exploration: What mysterious creatures might be hiding in the dark? - Maria’s Underwater Quest: How can she get her submarine in and out of the water? Through these engaging scenarios, your child will: Develop Computational Thinking: They’ll learn about sequences, follow instructions to create them, and describe their steps to peers. Problem-Solving Skills: They’ll break challenges into smaller parts, identify cause and effect, and explore simple loops. Testing and Debugging: They’ll practice testing their programs and fixing errors to make sure everything works as planned. In addition to STEM skills, your child will: Collaborate and Communicate: They’ll work together to help the characters solve problems and practice sharing their experiences with relevant details. Build Confidence: By recounting their adventures and discussing their solutions, they’ll strengthen their conversation and teamwork skills. We’re excited to see your child’s creativity and curiosity come to life as they explore, build, and learn this term!
